This project was a great exercise in critique and in challenge for myself - I was told that the second thumbnail with the cave would be a more successful piece. I thought to myself but that won't take me any time at all! I want something with detail! And went ahead with the decrepit buildings. As it turned out, I struggled with it the whole way! I turned out with a detailed piece, but the other thumbnail definitely told a better story.
